Mario Pannunzio is the Director of Operations & Strategic Growth at RENATA Facial Cosmetic Surgery and has been an integral part of the practice since its opening in 2022. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Mario attended the University of Alabama before beginning his career in fashion in Miami and later transitioning into luxury real estate in the Florida and New York City markets.
Throughout his career, Mario developed a passion for client relations and an appreciation for the details that define exceptional service. He was drawn to the opportunity to help build RENATA Facial Cosmetic Surgery from the ground up and to bring his background in luxury service and relationship-building to a highly personalized patient experience.
Mario oversees practice operations, patient experience, and strategic growth. He understands that choosing to pursue facial cosmetic treatment is a highly personal decision and believes that comfort, communication, discretion, and attention to detail are essential throughout the process.
Known for his natural ability to connect with people, Mario works closely with patients and the clinical team to ensure every interaction feels welcoming, organized, and genuinely attentive. He continues to play an important role in the growth and evolution of the practice and the standard of service that defines RENATA Facial Cosmetic Surgery today.
Kara is the Director of First Impressions at RENATA Facial Cosmetic Surgery. She moved to NYC in the summer of 2024 and joined the team shortly after. Kara has enjoyed an adventurous life, with time spent across the southeast and the Dakotas. After studying Theater and Studio Arts, Kara worked for many years as an actor, non-profit administrator, as well as a playwright and pop culture writer before entering the world of Medical Aesthetics as a Patient Care Coordinator for a med-spa in North Carolina.
Kara’s eclectic professional background has instilled a deep sense of empathy and appreciation for human connection. She brings these qualities to the team and recognizes that each patient’s goals are unique and important. Kara knows that warmth translates and aims to provide space in which patients are comfortable to discuss their aesthetic vision. Kara values the connections she builds with patients and is grateful for the opportunity to see patients move with expanded confidence in their daily lives or as they prepare for a new chapter or a special occasion.
In her downtime, Kara works on creative projects, attends classic film screenings, and writes personal essays. Human stories and experiences inspire her; she sees and appreciates each patient’s humanity and personal story.
